How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 2009!

What areas do you offer your services?
We work in: Chicago and surrounding suburbs including Evanston, Schaumburg, Wheeling, Glencoe, Naperville, and Joliet as well as in Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana.

Are custom wedding packages available?
Absolutely. If none of our packages suit your needs, we're happy to put together a custom package for you.

How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as soon as possible, dates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and book fast.

How do I reserve my wedding date?
We will send you a contract and an invoice for a deposit. Once your deposit has been paid, your date is reserved.

Do you have insurance and can you provide a certificate of insurance (COI) to our venue?
Yes, we have insurance coverage, and can provide a COI to your venue if they request one.

Do you edit all of the final photos? What is involved?
Yes, we edit all of the final photos, which involves exposure and color correction, and any necessary adjustments to make your photos look their very best.

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?
We will accommodate any specific precautions you'd like us to take at your wedding or engagement session.

Do you work with the LGBTQ community?
Yes. We are happy to capture anyone's special day!

Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes. We're happy to travel with you anywhere in the world to capture your big day! Travel rates would apply.

Do you have any online reviews?

Do you shoot in RAW or JPEG format?
Our team always shoots in RAW format.

What are your rates and are taxes included?
See our Packages page for our packages and rates. All taxes are included.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept check, credit card and bank-to-bank transfer.

What are your travel expenses?
If you're planning a wedding that is more than one hour outside Chicagoland, we charge $50/hour for driving time. If you're planning a destination wedding, travel charges will be dependent upon the destination.

What happens if we lose our digital files?
Please contact us and we'll reactivate your online gallery so you can re-download your images.

Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
Yes, our team always brings backup equipment.

Can we meet our photographer before booking?
Yes. Our photographers are happy to meet you in person or over a video call to get to know you better.

Do you backup all of our images?
Yes, we have two backups of every wedding; one is on a cloud service, the other is a physical hard drive.

Do you offer videography services?
At this time we are not directly offering videography services, but we are happy to recommend videographers we've worked with.

Do you offer prints or albums for purchase?
Yes, if interested, just let us know and we can provide pricing information.

Will we need permits for our engagement or wedding photography session?
Many locations around Chicago do require permits and it is the responsibility of the couple to secure them prior to the session. Let us know if you need help determining if a location requires permits.

Do you deliver every image you capture?
No. We will cut out duplicates images, pictures that are out of focus, blurry, have people blinking, etc.

If we cancel our wedding will we receive a refund?
You will receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel within 90 days of the wedding date. If we receive notice less than 90 days, a refund will not be issued.

Do you recommend an engagement session?

How many photos do you typically deliver from an engagement session?
Each session is different, however we typically deliver between 30-60 images per hour of shooting, which equals roughly one image every 1-2 minutes.

Do we own the rights to our engagement photos?
We grant you personal usage rights so that you can post photos online, or print, for your own personal use.

What if it rains on the day of our session?
We'll keep an eye on the weather, and if it looks like there will be rain, we're happy to reschedule for a different date.

When will our photos be ready to view and where can we view them?
Your photos will be ready to view within 2 weeks after your session. We will send you login information so you can access your engagement gallery on our website.

Will our images have a watermark?
No, your final images will not have a watermark.

Should we tip our photographer?
While tipping isn't mandatory, it is greatly appreciated. Our photographers work diligently to ensure your day is as seamless as possible. From emails, phone calls, Zoom meetings, and day of services, they are there with you, collaborating on your engagement session success from beginning to end. We appreciate your consideration.

Will you help us pose?
Yes, our photographers are professionals with years of experience, and will help you with posing at your engagement session.

Can I share our wedding photos on social media?
Of course! We encourage you to share your images on social media. We do ask that you please tag us when you do. Our social media accounts are: Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Can we purchase the RAW files from our session?
No, we do not offer the RAW files for purchase.

Engagement Photography Questions

How many photographers will be at our wedding?
Depending on your needs, you may have one or two photographers at your wedding.

Can we send you samples of photos we like?
Yes! If you've found photos you really love and want to emulate, please go over that with your photographer, and they'll do their best to recreate the look for you.

When will our photos be ready to view and where can we view them?
Your photos will be ready to view one month after the wedding day. We will send you login information so you can access your wedding gallery on our website.

Will our images have a watermark?
No, your final images will not have a watermark.

What if it rains on the day of our wedding?
We'll be there rain or shine! If you're planning any part of your wedding day to be outdoors, we highly recommend working with your venue to have have an indoor option in case of rain.

How many photos do you typically deliver?
Each wedding is different, so the final number of images delivered will vary. We typically deliver between 30-60 images per hour of shooting, which equals roughly one image every 1-2 minutes.

What if we go over the contracted amount of time?
If the party just won't stop, you can ask your photographer to stay later. You'll be billed after the wedding at $375/hr for your primary photographer and $175/hr for your associate photographer.

Should we tip our photographer?
While tipping isn't mandatory, it is greatly appreciated. Our photographers work diligently to ensure your day is as seamless as possible.
